Our cleaning method
Professional Wet Cleaning, Explained
“Dry cleaning” is the result you're after: a garment that's clean, holds its shape and looks pressed. Wet cleaning is the professional method we use to deliver that result for many “dry clean only” garments.
It isn't a home wash. Garments are mesh-bagged and cleaned in computer-controlled machines with specialist low-foam garment detergents, on a very gentle cycle, then only lightly tumbled. The real craft happens afterwards, on our Presso finishing system, which steams, air-dries, shapes and presses each garment.
It's not right for every single item, and we'll always tell you if a garment needs a different approach.
